Genesis 8:6-13, 20-22 GNBDK
[6] After forty days Noah opened a window
[7] and sent out a raven. It did not come back, but kept flying around until the water was completely gone. [8] Meanwhile, Noah sent out a dove to see if the water had gone down,
[9] but since the water still covered all the land, the dove did not find a place to alight. It flew back to the boat, and Noah reached out and took it in.
[10] He waited another seven days and sent out the dove again.
[11] It returned to him in the evening with a fresh olive leaf in its beak. So Noah knew that the water had gone down.
[12] Then he waited another seven days and sent out the dove once more; this time it did not come back.
[13] When Noah was 601 years old, on the first day of the first month, the water was gone. Noah removed the covering of the boat, looked round, and saw that the ground was getting dry.
[20] Noah built an altar to the LORD; he took one of each kind of ritually clean animal and bird, and burnt them whole as a sacrifice on the altar.
[21] The odour of the sacrifice pleased the LORD, and he said to himself, “Never again will I put the earth under a curse because of what people do; I know that from the time they are young their thoughts are evil. Never again will I destroy all living beings, as I have done this time.
[22] As long as the world exists, there will be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”
Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 116:12-13, 14-15, 18-19
R. (17a) To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R. Alleluia.
How shall I make a return to the LORD for all the good he has done for me? The cup of salvation I will take up, and I will call upon the name of the LORD.
R. To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R. Alleluia.
My vows to the LORD I will pay in the presence of all his people. Precious in the eyes of the LORD is the death of his faithful ones.
R. To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R. Alleluia.
My vows to the LORD I will pay in the presence of all his people, In the courts of the house of the LORD, in your midst, O Jerusalem.
R. To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R. Alleluia.
Gospel, Mark 8:22-26
Mark 8:22-26 GNBDK
[22] They came to Bethsaida, where some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to touch him.
[23] Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. After spitting on the man's eyes, Jesus placed his hands on him and asked him, “Can you see anything?”
[24] The man looked up and said, “Yes, I can see people, but they look like trees walking about.”
[25] Jesus again placed his hands on the man's eyes. This time the man looked intently, his eyesight returned, and he saw everything clearly.
[26] Jesus then sent him home with the order, “Don't go back into the village.”
Dearest Father,
Thank You for the seasons of seedtime and harvest. I know that what I'm sowing today, I’m harvesting in time. As written in the First Reading today.
Genesis 8:22 GNBDK
[22] As long as the world exists, there will be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”
Time for planting and a time for harvest.
In the Amplified Bible, this verse is rendered:
Genesis 8:22 AMP
[22] While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”
Seedtime and harvest.
This is my Seedtime, my time for planting.
But in faith, I've already reaped my harvest.
It's interesting to note that Noah got into the ark when the flood started at 600 years old.
Genesis 7:6-7 GNBDK
[6] Noah was 600 years old when the flood came on the earth. [7] He and his wife, and his sons and their wives, went into the boat to escape the flood.
He was 601 years old when he got down from the boat. It was 1 year after that life-changing event, that is the Flood.
Genesis 8:13 GNBDK
[13] When Noah was 601 years old, on the first day of the first month, the water was gone. Noah removed the covering of the boat, looked round, and saw that the ground was getting dry.
When this year started, I asked myself, “What would happen if I did what I said I would do for a year?”
I gave myself 1 year to see what would happen if I wrote on the internet for a year, publishing my journal for a year.
Or walking for a year?
Or seeking You, Father for a year?
Or building my community for a year?
Executing my RichLife Playbook for a year?
What a challenge for me. Cause I’ve never done anything straight for a year, in recent years.
Yesterday, I was scrambling to finish all my deadlines in one of my online jobs so I could start working on my other job while we didn't have assignments this week. This job just gave out assignments every other week but the work is a lot. And last week, I wasn't able to work on my other job.
Publishing SpeakChrist Diaries, my journal (my long-form content), and my short-form content daily takes most of my mornings.
And sometimes, half of the afternoons as well.
Like yesterday, when in the middle of publishing my journal, I was inspired to re-edit the book for kids that I wrote and published on Amazon about Noah titled, Friendship with God: The Story of Noah, The Friend of God.
I was inspired to publish it on my own SpeakChrist Digital shop yesterday so I could share it with you.
It took a while but I did it! Thank You, Lord!
Working on creative things to proclaim You always gets me in the Flow and energizes me. I don't even get hungry while working. Yesterday I ate after I published at 2 pm.
I remember when I used to write songs for You, sometimes Responsorial Psalms set to music for our nursing-sponsored hospital Mass where I played keyboard in the band.
I'd spent hours doing it and don't mind.
That's when I knew I liked creating things for You. Cause it's the same way when I'm writing an article or a book, or creating a video.
I'm like You, a creator.
But the pressure of working on these two online jobs competing with my desire to work on things I like is getting to me.
Cause I want to do my best for these two jobs too. And right now, I'm not doing that.
I'm just so happy that You've given me extremely flexible jobs that don't drain my creative capacity and that enable me to work there.
But my finances get affected too. The fewer hours I work on the jobs, the less I make. Well, to be exact, I'm paid monthly on one job and hourly by the other.
Today, You're encouraging me that this is just for a season - the time of planting.
You're reminding me that for every seedtime, there will always be a harvest waiting for me.
Yesterday, I was washing dishes and when I wash the dishes, it's always listening time for me. I listen to YouTube videos that motivate and inspire me and teach me. So motivational and educational videos.
And I listened to this Neville Goddard video titled the “Law of Identical Harvest.”
That intrigued me.
So I listened to it and it's basically saying you reap what you sow.
The thoughts you think, the words you speak, the actions you do daily, these are seeds you plant into the universe, in your subconscious, and in your life. And you will reap the same identical harvest.
You plant negative thoughts, words, and actions, you reap negative things in your life.
You plant abundant thoughts, words, and actions, you reap abundance in your life.
And I remember, earlier, I was browsing one of my millionaire mentor’s channel, Dan Martell, and I got to this video:
“Go for $1 billion” spoke powerfully to me.
And then this too:
It seems You were saying to me:
Go for 1 billion.
Go for 1 billion members of your SpeakChrist RichLife Club. £1 billion a month in membership income. 1 billion subscribers. 1 billion followers. 1 billion views of your videos and articles. 1 billion sales of your books.
Just go for 1 billion for everything.
It takes the same energy to claim 1, 1 million, and 1 billion.
Why not just go for 1 billion, since that has been your dream from ever since a long time ago and be done with it?
Remember, the sooner you will believe, the sooner you will get it.
Believe much bigger, much sooner.
Don't claim 1 million this year and then 1 billion eventually, as you have been doing.
Go for 1 billion now.
Remember the rule of 300, you heard from Dan Martell?
100% clarity on what you want,
100% belief that you have what you want,
100% of the time.
Do not settle for less, even when you're just claiming it in faith yet.
Work the Law of Identical Harvest. Sow for 1 billion, you reap 1 billion.
Dearest, I stand corrected.
I've been claiming 1 million cause I thought it's more believable.
I forgot that nothing's impossible for You, and nothing's impossible for the one who believes.
Then 1 billion it is.
You focused my message from a scattered 3-focused “health, wealth, victory in Christ” theme to a 1-focused “rich life in Christ” theme.
Now you focused my sowing, in this seedtime, to serve 1 billion and earn 1 billion per month.
I claim it, Lord. I've been claiming it privately all the time. Now I'm claiming it publicly.
I'm not going to be shy about it anymore.
Cause I want You to be glorified more than anything in my life.
I want my life to be Your source and symbol of blessing.
So thank You for Seedtime and Harvest.
I sow seeds for 1 billion members in my RichLife Club, I harvest £1 billion per month in earnings. In Jesus’ name!
