Genesis 9:1-13 GNBDK
[1] God blessed Noah and his sons and said, “Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth.
[2] All the animals, birds, and fish will live in fear of you. They are all placed under your power.
[3] Now you can eat them, as well as green plants; I give them all to you for food.
[4] The one thing you must not eat is meat with blood still in it; I forbid this because the life is in the blood.
[5] If anyone takes human life, he will be punished. I will punish with death any animal that takes a human life.
[6] Human beings were made like God, so whoever murders one of them will be killed by someone else.
[7] “You must have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth.” [8] God said to Noah and his sons,
[9] “I am now making my covenant with you and with your descendants,
[10] and with all living beings — all birds and all animals — everything that came out of the boat with you.
[11] With these words I make my covenant with you: I promise that never again will all living beings be destroyed by a flood; never again will a flood destroy the earth.
[12] As a sign of this everlasting covenant which I am making with you and with all living beings,
[13] I am putting my bow in the clouds. It will be the sign of my covenant with the world.
Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 102:16-18, 19-21, 29, 22-23
R. (20b) From heaven the Lord looks down on the earth.
The nations shall revere your name, O LORD, and all the kings of the earth your glory, When the LORD has rebuilt Zion and appeared in his glory; When he has regarded the prayer of the destitute, and not despised their prayer.
R. From heaven the Lord looks down on the earth.
Let this be written for the generation to come, and let his future creatures praise the LORD: “The LORD looked down from his holy height, from heaven he beheld the earth, To hear the groaning of the prisoners, to release those doomed to die.”
R. From heaven the Lord looks down on the earth.
The children of your servants shall abide, and their posterity shall continue in your presence, That the name of the LORD may be declared in Zion, and his praise, in Jerusalem, When the peoples gather together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
R. From heaven the Lord looks down on the earth
Gospel, Mark 8:27-33
Mark 8:27-33 GNBDK
[27] Then Jesus and his disciples went away to the villages near Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Tell me, who do people say I am?”
[28] “Some say that you are John the Baptist,” they answered; “others say that you are Elijah, while others say that you are one of the prophets.”
[29] “What about you?” he asked them. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”
[30] Then Jesus ordered them, “Do not tell anyone about me.”
[31] Then Jesus began to teach his disciples: “The Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the Law. He will be put to death, but three days later he will rise to life.”
[32] He made this very clear to them. So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.
[33] But Jesus turned round, looked at his disciples, and rebuked Peter. “Get away from me, Satan,” he said. “Your thoughts don't come from God but from human nature!”
Dearest Father,
Thank You that every day, as I seek You, You help me think like You and not like everyone else. As written in the Gospel today.
Mark 8:33 GNDBK
[33] But Jesus turned round, looked at his disciples, and rebuked Peter. “Get away from me, Satan,” he said. “Your thoughts don't come from God but from human nature!”
Here's a version that I like:
Mark 8:33 CEV
[33] But when Jesus turned and saw the disciples, he corrected Peter. He said to him, “Satan, get away from me! You are thinking like everyone else and not like God.”
This newsletter, SpeakChrist Diaries was born out of my desire to seek God's wisdom - His thoughts, His ways - every day.
Ever since I got to know Jesus in a personal way, I've always sought His words, what He thinks about my life, and what He wants me to be, do, and have.
The way the Lord showed me how to do this is to reflect on the daily Catholic Mass Readings as my mandate for the day.
I also write down my reflections so I have a record of His promises and mandate to me every single day.
In this way, I began to think as God does and not merely from my human nature though I was afraid of doing exactly that before too.
I've learned to distinguish the voice of God from my own thoughts.
It's like knowing the voice of my Best Friend the moment He speaks after having talked to Him for so long on the phone.
You see, it’s like when you first hear someone's voice on the phone, you won't know who it is on the other side. It's unfamiliar. But when you get to talk to that person always on the phone, you would know that person's voice with certainty and without doubt, right?
And the more you obey God's voice, the clearer You will hear Him.
I used to pray to God to speak His thoughts to me so clearly that I would know it's Him, without doubt, and not my thoughts only.
And God always does speak clearly His thoughts on all matters concerning me.
That's how I learned to follow Him through the journeys of my life.
My Papa wanted me to go abroad and work there as a nurse, God said no and not to follow in the way that the people were following.
I detailed that story here in this book, The Blessing: Unleash this Ancient Truth More Powerful than the Law of Attraction.
I wanted to work in the health insurance industry, after being forced to resign from my first hospital nursing job because of 3 medication errors, so I can still work as a nurse without having the stress of giving medications.
God said no, and led me to apply to one of the top 3 hospitals in my city, getting in, without having been interviewed. After just 4 months of working in the wards, I was assigned to a special diagnostic area where there wasn’t any giving of medications.
I wanted to go back home to my home city to be with my family but there aren’t good hospitals there so I thought it was impossible for me to go back home and work there. God said no, and He led me in miraculous ways to have my dream of working from home and earning more compared to my hospital job with 2 online jobs that I can work on whenever I want, wherever I want. This allowed me to go back home and live with my extended family when I thought it was impossible before.
I wrote that story and many other lessons about us being already rich and still growing rich in my book, Give Thanks and Grow Rich.
That's how the Lord led me to my condo when I thought it was impossible to be able to buy my own place with a meager monthly salary.
That's how I won my condo back when it got foreclosed. When all my family thought it was a goner for sure cause it was already set to be auctioned 4 days after my brother-in-law got the foreclosure notice.
God said no, I can decide and decree a thing and it will be done for me and the light of God's favor will shine upon my ways.
So I did. And miracles happened that I detailed in my book, Foreclosure Diaries.
And you know why I wrote these books that I mentioned here? Because God told me so. I learned of His thoughts concerning this from this verse in the Responsorial Psalm today:
Psalm 102:18 GNT
Write down for the coming generation what the LORD has done, so that people not yet born will praise him.
That's how God led me to start my SpeakChrist RichLife Club for just 1 GBP when I never thought of starting a membership community, in the first place, because I thought I had nothing to offer members on a continuous basis.
God led me to this tweet on X that I read one morning after I woke up and just before I prayed, about the Dollar Shave Club and how they started creating this membership of sending shavers every month for just $1 per month.
I thought, ok. I’d start a membership community of my own and I'd share how to live the RichLife in Christ that I've been living everyday then show them how to implement it each day.
When I said yes, I'll do it, the Lord gave me wisdom to flesh out my RichLife Playbook which, even now I'm still in the process of completing but still willing to share with those whom You will bring into my tribe.
But, I thought, if I'm to start a membership community, should it be better, Lord, to charge 8 or higher so it won't look cheap and will help me earn monthly recurring residual passive profits so I can be free to leave my job and focus on this work?
In many ways, God said no. It should be $1.
This membership will not be my source of income. He is my source of provision and will make me receive from multiple passive income rivers that He will create for me.
And so $1 it is.
I thought of naming it the Dollar RichLife Club but I wanted to charge in British Pounds so the Dollar in the name won't do.
I made it £1 because why not? I just love to earn in British Sterling Pound which the Lord ok’d for me to do when I heard of Trevor Blake, one of my YouTube millionaire mentors who sold 3 companies for 300 million dollars and are now working on 6 companies at the same time for only 5 hours a day, sharing that he made the intention of earning $300k plus when he was still in London earning GBP and that he never doubted his intention would be fulfilled.
I thought of claiming 1 million members for my RichLife Club this year, to astound people and glorify You, claiming Your promise in Hebrews 6:14:
Hebrews 6:14 NASB2020
[14] saying, “indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”
But God said to me yesterday, why not claim 1 billion members as I've always dreamed to bless 1 billion people with the inspiration and encouragement of Christ? Why settle for less just because people might say I'm crazy for believing that impossible thing?
God will bring me the people. I won't have to go out and find them.
So now I'm claiming in faith and calling in 1 billion Generous, Raving, Engaged, Apostolic, Tribal (GREAT) SpeakChrist Angels, my RichLife Club members, living the RichLife in Christ daily, consistently achieving what God wants us to be, do, and have, without struggle, extremely blessed and blessing others.
That's my vision for my membership community.
God promised He will greatly bless me and He will greatly multiply me and so be it. Amen!
I thought of just making my newsletter once a week, the SpeakChrist Lovenote, since I already have 2 online jobs that take up most of my time.
But God said why not publish my journal daily so I can be motivated to do it daily? Plus it will be a public record that could not only be my legacy when He takes me back to our Eternal City but could also attract like-minded individuals to become subscribers to my newsletters and even members of my RichLife Club.
So I did and this newsletter, SpeakChrist Diaries was born. In the process, this had become my daily deep work that I dedicate my mornings to and my online jobs naturally took a back seat even when it meant less income for me.
“Proclaim the message of the good news to the poor” is my mandate and that takes precedence over all. The good news that we don't have to be poor anymore. That we can live the RichLife in Christ, now and forever.
If I focus on that, even when my own thoughts would say, what about your work, how will you have income?, God promised to enrich me, Himself.
Isaiah 61:5-7 GNBDK
[5] My people, foreigners will serve you. They will take care of your flocks And farm your land and tend your vineyards. [6] And you will be known as the priests of the LORD, The servants of our God. You will enjoy the wealth of the nations And be proud that it is yours. [7] Your shame and disgrace are ended. You will live in your own land, And your wealth will be doubled; Your joy will last for ever.
God was saying to me through this verse that even when I didn't go abroad, as I originally dreamt of doing, but followed Him instead and stayed in my own land to obey Him and serve Him, He can provide so much more for me even in my own land and will help me earn the dollars or the British pounds that I wanted.
Isn't that happening right now? I'm earning in dollars because the 2 online companies I work for are from the US, without leaving my family, like most nurses and overseas foreign workers from my country do.
God's thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are not our ways.
Isaiah 55:8-9 NASB2020
[8] “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. [9] “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
It pays to listen to Him every day, seek His wisdom, so we can do what He says and He can bless us for obedience. Because there are always blessings for obedience. Did you know?
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 GNBDK
[1] “If you obey the LORD your God and faithfully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, he will make you greater than any other nation on earth. [2] Obey the LORD your God and all these blessings will be yours…
He knows and can do for us so much more than we can ask, imagine or think.
Ephesians 3:20 NLT
[20] Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
So let's not be like Peter who tried to persuade Jesus to do what he thinks is right instead of seeking God's wisdom.
Mark 8:33
[33] But Jesus turned round, looked at his disciples, and rebuked Peter. “Get away from me, Satan,” he said. “Your thoughts don't come from God but from human nature!”
Let's be like Solomon who, when God gave him the chance to ask Him for anything he wants, kinda like giving him a blank cheque, Solomon only asked for one thing: wisdom.
To think like God does.
God not only gave him what he asked for - wisdom - He gave him what he didn't ask for - treasure, fame, and wealth more than any man has ever had or will ever have again.
God made Solomon a trillionaire for as long as he sought God.
In the end, he stopped seeking God, worshipped the gods of this world, and became a wise fool instead.
I think that's the beauty of the 4 Pillar RichLife Playbook that the Lord has given me.
It will ensure for us to live the rich life in Christ, now and forever. Now while we're living on this earth and forever in our Eternal city. And not be led astray by anything in this world.
Because if we just make sure to live the 4 Pillars of the RichLife in Christ daily:
live in our Divine Identification as a child and heir of God,
pursue what He wants us to be, do, and have, our GodX Vision,
remain in Him and His words, our Rock Foundation,
and do inspired actions now, within a 24-hour activation window, and not tomorrow or someday,
We will always live the rich life in Christ, extremely blessed and blessing others, now and forever.
We won't be like Solomon who at the end of his life was led astray by his many wives and destroyed his God-given legacy.
Let's strive to know how God thinks every day, until He takes us back to Him and talk to Him face to face. In Jesus’ Name!
If you want to know more about how to implement the 4-Pillar RichLife Playbook so you can live the rich life in Christ, now and forever, join our SpeakChrist RichLife Club. We'll do it together.
Live the RichLife in Christ today:
God's thoughts are not our thoughts.
God's ways are not our ways.
Seek His wisdom daily.
What are you following in life - God's thoughts, your thoughts, or other people's thoughts?
Mark 8:33 CEV
[33] But when Jesus turned and saw the disciples, he corrected Peter. He said to him, “Satan, get away from me! You are thinking like everyone else and not like God.”
